About Me
Sharon Ranshaw is a General Dental Council registered dental technician; she has been involved in dentistry for over 30 years from initially qualifying as a dental nurse in 1987 to gaining qualification as a dental technician in 1993 and progressing on to run her own crown & bridge dental laboratory. Sharon’s experience includes working for the UK Dental Laboratories Association as a General Manager and specialised in supporting dental laboratory owners on issues such as the Medical Devices Directive, DAMAS, quality standards, health and safety, PPE and technical issues.
Sharon is currently the UK Operations Director of DAMAS International Ltd which consists of the management of the DAMAS Scheme throughout the UK which includes the auditing of dental laboratories and managing the UK operations of the scheme.
