The DLA are constantly review the many pieces of legislation and regulatory requirements that are currently in place to allow a commercial dental laboratory to place custom made dental appliances on the market. This work can be carried out by replying to consultation documents, meeting with regulators as well as reviewing custom and practice within the dental laboratory sector, to offer suggestions to improve rules and regulations that effect dental laboratory owners in the UK.

Our regulatory work is not only strategically based, we also offer our members a direct support service when they have queries relating to a particular piece of legislation or regulatory requirement. This can be as simple as answering a call or as detailed as raise an official enquiry and acting on behalf of a member in confidence.
