The General Dental Council (GDC) has issued a crucial reminder to all dental care professionals (DCPs) about the fast-approaching Continuing Professional Development (CPD) statement deadline.
All DCPs must submit their CPD statement by 28 August to remain compliant with GDC requirements and retain their registration. This deadline applies to the CPD year running from 1 August to 31 July, during which DCPs are expected to complete their necessary CPD activities and log their hours appropriately.
An email has been sent out to DLA members this morning reminding registrants of their CPD statement deadline along with the consequences of missing the deadline including how to restore your GDC registration, how to ensure future compliance and the top three tips on how to plan and record your CPD.
