Hi everyone,
We would like to invite you to our online event Teams meeting, hosted by Yeovil College, to introduce our innovative Level 3 Dental Technology Apprenticeship. Presented by Dave Smith from Yeovil College and Mike Wheeler from NHS England, this will be a great opportunity to learn about the new digital dental training, its benefits to organisations and apprentices, and how it is the most cost-effective way to future proof your lab’s workforce.
This online event is ideally suited to laboratory owners located in the surrounding areas of the Ivoclar Academy in Leicester, such as Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Birmingham, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, S Yorkshire, Bucks and Berks.

Why Attend?
Yeovil College, in partnership with NHS England and industry leaders, is addressing the critical skills gap in dental technology. We’ve successfully launched our Laboratory Technician Level 3 apprenticeship and are now expanding to Leicester. This course blends face-to-face and online learning at the Ivoclar Academy, Leicester, offering comprehensive training in:
- Digital design and manufacturing
- Anatomy and materials science
- Safe working practices
- Communication within a dental team
- During the event, we will also provide information on:
– The affordability of the training – there are no course fees for employers or students, thanks to NHS levy support.
– How the programme is structured and the learner journey.
– Who is eligible for the apprenticeship, and the benefits to organisations and individuals alike.
