i) You must be either a current Member or Affiliate Member in good standing of the DLA, and have been for at least five continuous years

ii) If you are a registered dental technician active in the UK, you must also have successfully completed all your continuous professional development requirements as laid out by the General Dental Council, and have a clean registration.

iii) You should be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to:

  • the dental technology profession
  • the health and welfare of the dental laboratory community
  • supporting British Dental Technology
  • the aims of DLA, or any organisation which benefits UK dental laboratories

Fellowship is only awarded by the DLA Executive Board. Nominations can be offered for the DLA Executive Board to consider, however Fellowship of the DLA is only awarded when deemed appropriate. Fellowship is not an annual award.

A Fellow can use the post nominals FDLA or Fellow of the DLA following their formal approval from the DLA Executive Board.
